During the last four month an old Bhagirathi Timsina an old man living at the elderly home passed away. On behalf of SESF organization we expressed our heartiest condolence for the loss of such a wonderful person.
The other guests, Mr. Balaram Thapa the coordinator of Manakamana Free food management committee, Mr. Bharat head of Gurukul school operated in Manakamana Dham, Mr. Hari, a Gurukul teacher were present at the program.
In the program, the SESF secretary Mr. Tejanath Pokharel explained about the program and mentioned that the program was good and necessary for the old aged people.
Now a days there 25 elderly people have been living happily. June 26,2025 Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation organized a food material distribution program at the Elderly Home
This time the SESF foundation distributed 20 Induction (Electric stove) for them. Soon we are going to distribute pots to use with the stove so that they can boil water or prepare some snacks in their room.
We also distributed sugar, soap, beaten rice, tea dusts, biscuits, as well as other materials of daily use to them. An we handed over the rest of the food materials like cooking oil, rice, potatoes, pulse, salt to the cafeteria
This time we also filled 6 Gas cylinder for the cafeteria. From now on the elderly people living at the elderly home people do not have to prepare food themselves. There is no tensing of fetching water, cooking materials washing pots etc. for them. The bell rings when the food is ready in the cafeteria. Then they go there and to have their meal with their own dishes.
Even the guests who come to visit the temple can have free food to eat there. There is facility for more than 50 people to stay
