• Social Trekking Program

 SSESF has established Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST), a nonprofit distributing social trekking Agency in Khandbari of eastern Nepal. MAST organizes, coordinates and facilitates community-friendly social trekking program that generates income for SESF to run its programs in the district.

We are happy to inform you   that your  trekking adventure with us  can fund a child’s education in Nepal. SESF established Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST)  a social trekking Agency to create a sustainable future for our region. MAST is a unique, non-profit distributing company based in Khandbari.

How it works: Every social trek we organize will be community-friendly and ethical. The income generated from this trek goes directly to SESF to fund our educational programs across the district. You don’t just see the mountains—you help the people who live among along the trekking route.
